How Has It Been 10 Years Since 9/11?
All of us remember where we were when we began to understand that the United States was under attack. We remember in detail what we heard and saw on television, radio, and the internet shortly after it was happening—that same day—that same morning into early afternoon.
How has the time gone by so quickly?
My dad says, “The older you get, the faster time moves.” It is so true. Both of my sons were sent home early from elementary school that fateful day. One of them is now out of college, working, and trying to advance himself as an independent adult. The younger one is advancing in college toward his chosen career as an elementary school teacher. Something he has wanted to do since he was in late elementary school.
What has happened to you and your loved ones in this quick ten year period of time? How quickly will the next ten years race by?
Is this the life you have wanted to live? Are these the things you have wanted to do and own? Are these the relationships you have wanted and of those relationships, is this how you have wanted them to go?
