Why Do We Receive When We Give?

There are a number of paradoxes in life; things turning out to be the opposite of what you would think they would be. “Giving” to others is one of them. You would think that you would feel good and better when you receive a gift, but you don’t. It is in “giving” the gift that we feel better. It is in being a blessing to others that we are blessed. Keep this in mind as we close toward Christmas Day. It is the people and relationships, not the “stuff” that are the highlights. It is in the giving that we receive. It is in being the blessing that we are blessed.
