COVID is the Mother of Invention

It’s true, COVID has become the Mother of Invention or, in our case, modification.  Your health and safety, the clients and their trusted advisers, has always been Priority #1 but we’ve had to make some adjustments to our process to accommodate additional safety due to COVID19.  Now I am meeting with clients in their home as many are more comfortable there.  We have also met outside as some are more comfortable with that.  I wear a mask for the safety of my clients and make sure that all phases of our Unique Estate Planning Process are done with the safety and health of the client as the top goal.

I have always been about getting to know and understand the clients unique goals and concerns in Estate Planning, along with the strengths and weaknesses of their loved ones. That way together we can design a Customized Protective Estate Plan™ to meet the specific needs of their family.  And that family can include people, charities and pets.

My favorite parts of my work have always been getting to know the clients and building relationships with them, and along with my experience with the Legal puzzle piece, I am able to  design their individual Customized Protective Estate Plan™.   Going to the clients homes has been a very enjoyable experience.  I feel like I can better get to know the client in their own home. They are more relaxed and relational which helps me do a better job for them.
“Necessity is the mother of invention” and in this case, COVID has changed everything about the way we operate.
Due to these unusual times I have learned to go to the client’s homes and have really enjoyed it, both personally and professionally.   I often become friends with my clients.  This has helped that a lot.
I plan to keep going to my client’s homes.
I remain incredibly thankful to do work that I love in a place I love.
